Internal Auditing

Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value to and improve an organization’s operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. The Internal Auditing course looks at the steps necessary to complete an internal audit, from assignment to follow-up.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the role and purpose of internal auditing in an organization.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the internal audit process, from planning and execution to reporting and follow-up.

• Develop the skills necessary to conduct effective internal audits, including identifying risks, evaluating controls, and analyzing data.

• Apply internal audit principles to various organizational functions and processes.

• Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

Participants enrolling for this programme will be required to have a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience. Participants who meet the programme requirement should pay the course fee and complete the enrollment form 2 weeks before the programme kick off date.
