FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

No, the Scrum Master role is focused on process, coaching, and facilitation, not technical execution. However, understanding the team's domain can be helpful.

Experienced Scrum Masters can move into Agile Coaching, Release Train Engineer roles (in SAFe environments), or management positions overseeing Agile adoption.

This course covers the required knowledge and provides excellent preparation. Passing depends on individual study, understanding, and exam-taking skills. Exam fees may or may not be included (check course details).

While both roles work with teams to deliver value, they are different. Project Managers often focus on planning, directing tasks, managing scope/schedule/budget baselines. Scrum Masters focus on coaching the team on the Scrum framework, facilitating events, removing impediments, and fostering self-management, acting as servant-leaders rather than directors.
